What is an elective ultrasound?

An elective ultrasound is a non-diagnostic, keepsake ultrasound session designed to let you bond with your baby through images, videos, and live viewing. These sessions are for entertainment and bonding purposes only — not for medical diagnosis.

Do I still need my regular medical ultrasounds?

Yes. Elective ultrasounds do not replace the medical ultrasounds ordered by your healthcare provider. You should continue to see your doctor for all medical imaging and prenatal care.

Does my insurance/FSA/HSA cover elective ultrasounds?

No. Elective ultrasounds are non-diagnostic, keepsake ultrasound session designed to let you bond with your baby. These ultrasounds are not reviewed by a physician.

When is the best time to book?

  1. Early Peek (8–13 weeks): See your baby’s heartbeat for the first time.

  2. Gender Reveal (14–20 weeks): Perfect for finding out boy or girl!

  3. 3D/4D/HD Experience (27–34 weeks): See detailed facial features and movements.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Hydrate well for at least 3 days before your session! Staying hydrated helps increase the clarity of your ultrasound images. Also, wear comfortable clothing and arrive a few minutes early.

Can I bring guests?

Yes! We love when families share the moment. To maintain a calm and comfortable space, we kindly ask that you keep guests to a fair minimum (typically 4-5 people). Children are welcome under adult supervision.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. The deposit is applied toward your total package price.

Can I reschedule or cancel?

Appointments can be rescheduled with at least 24-hour notice. Cancellations with refunds of deposit are not permitted except under extreme circumstances (case-by-case review). Deposits are non-refundable.

Will I receive photos or videos?

Yes! Every package includes printed Ultrasound photos. Most packages digital photos and include video clips or full live recording options. You can also upgrade to a digital gallery add-on if you choose a package that it may not be included.

What if my baby is hiding?

If your baby’s position makes it difficult to get clear images, we’ll gladly offer a complimentary re-scan (at the discretion of the sonographer) to try again within a few days.

How long is the appointment?

Depending on your package, sessions typically last 15–30 minutes. Please arrive on time to ensure you receive the full experience.
